The NGO World (TNW) – ISO 9001:2008 Certification Announcement

Date: 2013-05-03: The NGO World, a global professional networking initiative for social good, announces a milestone achievement in becoming certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems standards and guidelines. The NGO World has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for quality management system. We received the Certificate # PAK000939-U. ISO 9001 is a set of international standard and guidance documents for quality management and quality assurance. The standard represents an international consensus on good management practices, policies and procedures with the aim of ensuring that our organization can, time and time again, deliver the services that meet the target community quality requirements.


Honorary Ambassador of World NGO Day

Mr. Zafar Iqbal – Founder / Executive Director, The NGO World Foundation Pakistan has been nominated as honorary ambassador of World NGO Day in Pakistan.



Deniz Feneri Acceptance and Recognition of Our Projects

Deniz Feneri – Turkey visited the projects of The NGO World – Pakistan and accepted, appreciated and acknowledged the efforts.

Barakah Project Awarded

Farz Foundation  conducted 2nd National Conference on Islamic Micro finance 2012 on 3rd November at University of Veterinary and animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore.”

Mr. Zafar Iqbal Exective Director (The NGO World) presented Barakah project “(livestock for poverty reduction) that was appreciated by the experts and awarded as best case study. Award was presented by Justice Khalil ur Rahman (renowned shria advisor on Islamic Finance)

On the occasion were present, Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib (Founder AKHUWAT) Mr.Ajmal Niazi (columnist), Humaira Awais Shahid (khabrain, MPA), Dr Talat Naseer Pasha (VC UVAS) and Farhat Abbas Shah (CEO Farz Foundation).

Deniz Feneri (Turkey) Awarded The NGO World on Best Performance

President Deniz Feneri presented a shield to Founder of The NGO World for using their funds effectively and efficiently.

President Deniz Feneri  Mr. MEHMET CENGIZ awarded Mr. Zafar Iqbal Executive Founder/Director of The NGO World Foundation on best performance. He presented him a shield during Inaugural Ceremony of projects conducted on 25th of December 2011 at Layyah. Mr. Ahmad Ali Olak (Minister Agri Punjab) and DCO Layyah were also present at this occasion. Mr. MEHMET CENGIZ said that we are happy and thankful to The NGO World on using funds from Turkish people in an efficient manner.

PDMA-Punjab Appreciates The NGO World Foundation

PDMA Punjab appreciates joint efforts of The NGO World (Pakistan) and Deniz Feneri (Turkey) for Rehabilitation of flood victims

Director General of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab acknowledges and appreciates the joint efforts of both organizations for helping flood affected people of Layyah and Muzaffargarh districts.  He issued a letter that was presented in an Inaugural Ceremony of projects conducted on 25th of December 2011 at Layyah. DCO Layyah presented the letter to Mr. Ibrahim Altan.

NCHD Appreciation for our efforts

Appreciation on successful completion of Rehabilitation process of 22 feeder schools destroyed during floods 2010

The NGO World has completed rehabilitation process of 22 feeder schools which were destroyed during floods 2010 and handed over to National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) in a simple ceremony conducted at NCHD office Layyah.

District Manager NCHD appreciates the work and is grateful to “The NGO World Foundation” and Deniz Feneri (Turkey) for their support regarding the cause of Universal Primary Education in following words;

“I thought this mail is in fact acknowledgement of your noble work which you extended to us in form of 22 Feeder Schools ( pictures are attached).Now, all 22 Feeder school have been constructed by our partner (The NGO World) and are operational with hand pumps ,furniture and bath rooms. All 1236 children who were not in a position after the flood to read and write now are praying for you and are happy in their schooling. At the end, I am thankful for your kind visit and the thought you have for the welfare of humanity. Our hearts are open and are looking forward for you kind visit to Pakistan in future. Please do let us know any service from Pakistan.”
