Introduction:

“The NGO World” offers internship opportunities to PAKISTAN YOUTH (PATH) including students of different fields who will be completing their studies in near future or have recently graduated and looking for job opportunities.  Program offers a wide range of opportunities for interns to gain insight in the administrative and social & development programs of TNW and partner organizations.

Objective:

The objective of offering internship is to prepare the PAKISTAN YOUTH (PATH) for competitive job market while strengthening their technical, professional and career development skills.

Limitations: minimum 20 years of age and at least 16 years of education.

Duration: The minimum duration of internship is 12 weeks, extendable up to 24 weeks maximum based on location, organizational and professional needs. Candidates who may perform well may transition to long term full time contractual job at TNW or partner organizations if available.

 

General Coaching:

In addition to learning through these on-the-job training activities, the interns will also be offered classroom training/coaching sessions to help them improve their own skills to better prepare as future professionals.  Classes / coaching sessions may include various skills like, CV /Resume writing, Interview Techniques, Basic Computer skills, Communication skills, Leadership, Team Work and Project Management.

  • Report preparation and submission

 

Experience you need:

No previous experience required- we are looking for flexible and motivated people who are able to work with limited support. Candidates will be interviewed to judge their suitability for the role.

How can you apply?

  • You are invited to complete an Application form for internship. This questionnaire includes providing details about your education and experience. You will also be able to indicate the area of work within TNW that you are hoping to intern.
  • You will also be asked to write about your motivation for applying for a TNW Internship.
  • After evaluation of your application an invitation letter will be sent to the selected interns.

 

Two days workshop on Youth Social Entrepreneurship

“The NGO World” under its program ” Institute of NGO Leadership & Management”(INGOL&M) successfully completed two days training on Youth Social Entrepreneurship (15-16 April 2016) at Pothohar College kallar Syedan, District Rawalpindi. Participants learned about the concept of Social Entrepreneurship and were able to create innovative ideas of establishing Social Enterprises. On 2nd day they presented the solutions of identified social problems about their respective communities.

“The NGO World” training team was quiet satisfied with the outcomes of two days because we find couple of youth projects which have powerful idea behind them and can be an intervention of changing lives of target groups of people by extending little support and guidance. Youth Social Entrepreneurship Workshops is a continuous program of the INGOL&M of youth engagement in positive, constructive and productive activities. Hidden potential of youth is explored, refined and directed to bring valuable change in society.

Ms. Samina Saeed (AHAN) delivered certificates and appreciated the youth on their active participation and interest to be a change agent for their societies.

The NGO World will organize two days training on Youth Development (Route to Success)  24-25 March 2012 in Multan. Youth Leadership Development is aimed at transforming individuals into valued members of the society and helps them to success in personal and professional life. It aims at preparing them to make a Positive Difference by realizing their full potential, attaining personal growth and improving their focus towards Life and Career goals. We offer them Motivational, emotional and strategic supports to succeed in life.  This courses been designed to develop and accentuate certain personality traits in individuals.

YSE Project (Rida Education and Training Center)

On the identification of an issue in Basti Mani Sial – Khanewal (Pakistan), The NGO World supported local youth for establishing Rida Education and Training Center for women under its Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program. Previously the total area of the aforementioned location, comprising of a population of 30,000 people, was deprived of any higher education institution for girls. Now the girls of the area are benefiting from the services of the educational and training center and are thankful to The NGO World.

Youth Social Entrepreneurship Workshop

This was an exciting new opportunity for aspiring young entrepreneurs to gain a recognized qualification in Youth Social Entrepreneurship. The training was helpful for young people to gain the appropriate knowledge, skills, resources and attitudes they need to secure jobs or to start their own social enterprises.

The NGO World Foundation in collaboration with YES Network Pakistan is working to develop and implement high-quality youth social entrepreneurship trainings.
